Attendance
For children to thrive and flourish at school, regular attendance is crucial. Frequent bouts of absence has a huge impact on their capacity to learn and on their social development, including friendships.
It is for these reasons that we urge all parents to ensure that their child attends school during term times. The link explains how we classify rates of attendance Attendance Rates:
We also ask that the child's arrival at school is punctual, so they are ready to make the most of the school day.
If your child is unwell and not able to attend school, please contact the school office at the earliest opportunity on 01462 620670. We then require parents to inform the office on each subsequent day of absence.
